01About me
A lifetime in technology, a journey in search of meaning
My journey with technology began in the late 1990s. Since then I have built IT departments from scratch, grown teams, and led large projects that brought many organisations to the same goal.
The most important thing I learned in those years is that technology's real value shows when it makes people's work and lives easier. With that view, I now work independently as a companion on AI and technology projects.
Outside of work you will find me on the road, in nature, in an antique shop or meditating in a quiet corner. Good music and good films are also a lasting part of my life.

MDM - Mac Download Manager
A download manager for the Mac that works like IDM (Internet Download Manager), built for Apple Silicon. With Chrome and Safari extensions it catches downloads in the browser, speeds them up with up to 32 parallel connections, and resumes where they stopped. It downloads entire YouTube, Vimeo, X and Instagram playlists and videos in one click; for dubbed videos you choose the audio language.

What makes me who I am
Time spent on the road, in nature and in silence is worth as much as time spent in front of a screen.

Finding stillness in the middle of noise, clearing the mind and coming back to the present.

Turning ideas into working projects with AI
I use AI tools at the centre of my work. I work with Claude the most: I see it as a team member for analysis, software development, document preparation and process automation. Depending on the need, I also bring in ChatGPT, DeepSeek, Grok and other visual and audio AI tools.
